The Brief
Ventutec board members employ more than 200 people in a number of companies, one of which has been trading for over 40 years. As a new company Ventutec asked Phase8 to create a strong brand image that would work fluidly across all company online and offline marketing materials.
The Solution
As a starting point and after initial discussions with the customer, our designers produced a number of bespoke logo concepts in various different styles and colour schemes. These were presented to Ventutec’s board members and the pyramid brand was then selected as the favoured choice to move forward.
The second stage of the project was to apply the branding to the company stationery set. The steep edge of the pyramid logo was applied across the foot of the stationery, to create a visual link between the logo and the printed literature. Using graphical elements of the logo in the printed material strengthened the branding and gave the stationery a distinctive bold style. A double-sided letterhead, compliment slip and six business cards completed the stationery pack.
The third and final stage of the project was the new media material. ‘Look and feel’ design concepts were produced for the Ventutec website. A number of different design solutions were shown to the client and then narrowed down to the final design solution. Once the final design had gained client approval, the concepts were then prepared for the web by our developers. The website was then styled in CSS and the various dynamic and functional elements were added. Once this was completed in our development environment, the site was then passed to the client for approval.
Online advertising followed in the same style as the website, and a number of promotional banner ads were produced for Ventutec’s marketing team to use.
